Pillar Church Membership Covenant

In keeping with the mission and values of Pillar Church, I hereby covenant together with the body of Pillar Church for the sanctification of the body of Christ and the advancement of the Gospel. As such, I affirm the following: 

1. I am trusting in Christ alone as my only hope for salvation and reconciliation with my creator.
(Rom 10:9-10)

2. I have been baptized by immersion as a declaration of my surrender to and faith in Jesus. (Mat 28:19)

3. I believe the scriptures of the Bible are of God and, therefore, they are my authority concerning Him. (2 Tim 3:16)

4. I desire to see God glorified through regularly gathering with the believers in worship and in community. (Heb 10:23-25)

5. I will pray for and submit to the leadership of Pillar Church. (Heb 13:17)

6. I commit to advancing God’s Kingdom on earth by investing my money and time in Pillar Church. (Mat 25:14-30)

7. I will love my brothers and sisters in Christ in my words and actions. (Eph 4:1-5:21)

8. I understand that in cases of ongoing disobedience to scripture, I will be subject to church discipline until reconciliation. (Mat 18:12-22)

9. I will partner with Pillar Church in making disciples by living and telling the story of Jesus as Savior, King, and God in Warrensburg and the World. (Mat 28:18-20)

I joyfully enter this covenant for the sake of the glory of God and the joy of his people.
